Outdoor advertising company Adshel has today launched New Zealand’s first national digital roadside network, Adshel Live.

“This is a milestone for the company and a major step forward for digital out-of-home in New Zealand,” said general manager Nick Vile said.

“We’ve been building up to this since the phase one launch of Adshel Live in Auckland last year. Advertisers have embraced the opportunities that digital enables, but what’s really exciting is that with this national network, we can now deliver genuine scale.

“The network has 150 ultra-high definition screens across Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, located in hand-picked zones including main arterial routes and key shopping precincts across each centre, enabling advertisers to reach commuters where they work, live, shop or play.”

Ten LG ultra-high definition TVs to be won
To celebrate the network going live, Adshel is launching the Screen Grab promotion, giving away one LG ultra-high definition TV every day for the next 10 working days, starting from today.

To win, go to to the interactive map of the new Adshel Live national network, pick a screen and fill out the form. Each day a screen will be drawn at random. If your name is next to that site, you’re the winner, if more than one name against that screen, the winner will be drawn from these names.

Adshel sales & marketing directo, Ben Gibb said: “We wanted a fun and unique way to engage our advertising partners and share with them the full extent of our national network. It made sense to pick the premium UHD TV as the prize, and the dynamic nature of the site as the mechanic. We look forward to seeing the entries roll in.

“The scale of this network is unmatched in the roadside digital out-of-home category in New Zealand – we can now offer clients the ability to deliver dynamic, contextually relevant communications beyond just a handful of sites in the CBD, for even greater impact and reach.
