HAWKE’S BAY, Today: Specialist digital agency FizzyPop, has partnered with Modica Group, a leading Auckland-based enterprise SMS services provider, and the Hawke’s Bay Regional Council to launch a text-to-donate service for the Hawke’s Bay Disaster Relief Trust.
The service enables people to donate $3 to the trust by texting the number 2923, with all proceeds going towards disaster relief efforts in the wake of Cyclone Gabriel.
Working closely with the council, FizzyPop and Modica Group were able to quickly and efficiently set up the text-to-donate service, which is being launched in market today (Thursday 6 April).
The service is being promoted by local businesses throughout Hawke’s Bay, and both FizzyPop and Modica Group have waived any fees associated with setting up the system.
“We’re proud to be a part of this important initiative to help support disaster relief efforts in our community,” said FizzyPop director Tom Young.
“By partnering with Modica Group and the Hawke’s Bay Regional Council, we were able to leverage our collective expertise to create a simple and effective text-to-donate service that will make it easy for people to contribute to the cause.”
