Air New Zealand has finally brought to an end the pitch process for its media account by appointing the Dentsu Aegis Network agencies across Australia & NZ. DAN’s Carat will handle the NZ business, while DAN’s Vizeum will do it across the ditch.
The other pitchers were PHD, Carat (the key DAN agency in the process), and OMD (the incumbent).
Air New Zealand previously worked with separate agencies in Australia (PHD) and New Zealand (OMD) but the latest decision consolidates the airline’s entire Transtasman business with the Dentsu Aegis Network.
At press time, neither party would comment. Few other details were available.
