AUCKLAND, Friday: Air Vanuatu, the national carrier for Vanuatu, has appointed GTI AU as its PR agency and Redfire NZ as its brand strategy/creative/media agencies.

The partnership will see Redfire take on the task of developing and implementing Air Vanuatu’s brand strategy across all channels, including traditional and digital media, as well as creative campaigns to engage audiences across the region.

Air Vanuatu chief Greg Wilson says the airline looks forward to working with GTI and Redfire to develop communications and campaigns that encourage even more New Zealanders to travel with the airline to Vanuatu in 2023.

“We have seen strong demand from Kiwi travellers to return to the archipelago’s shores and are pleased to have expanded our service offering up to three-times weekly from New Zealand to Port Vila in 2023, as well as services beyond domestically.

“As an independent agency, we pride ourselves on delivering innovative campaigns that connect in a meaningful way.”

“We look forward to flying even more passengers on our services from Auckland throughout 2023 and greeting every passenger with the warmest welcome in the South Pacific on every flight.”

Redfire Auckland founder/brand strategist, Colin Downing says they are thrilled to have been appointed as Air Vanuatu’s partner for Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

“As an independent agency, we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver innovative and impactful campaigns that connect with audiences in a meaningful way,” he said.

We look forward to working with Air Vanuatu and collaborating with GTI to elevate the Air Vanuatu brand and drive engagement across the region.”

At press time, it was unclear if there was a pitch – and any incumbents.
