Budget airline AirAsia reckons it is “reminding the public of its promises to New Zealanders” with its own #VoteAirAsia campaign ahead of this year’s NZ election this Saturday.

To mark the occasion, AirAsia and its Australasian creative agency Publicis Groupe have produced a series of posters and social media content reminding Kiwis to keep AirAsia top of mind when it comes to affordable travel.

Kiwis can also go into the draw to win return flights on AirAsia X from Auckland by sharing photos of their favourite AirAsia election posters to the AirAsia New Zealand Facebook page with the hashtag #VoteAirAsia.

Saatchi Sydney said in a release that “AirAsia saw an opportunity to inject some fun into what is already an intense election”.

“We want to join in the conversation in an engaging way during a very important milestone in New Zealand; and remind Kiwis of our low fares, and the strength and breadth of our network, which includes Asia, Australia, the Middle East and the US,” said Sydney-based AirAsia PR executive Angely Cullerne.

“International travel has never been so affordable, which is why more Kiwis are choosing to fly with AirAsia, provides Kiwis with low-cost fares and access to over 120 destinations across 24 countries.”

AirAsia flies daily to the Gold Coast and Asia via Kuala Lumpur from Auckland.
