Emirates NZ, with assistance from Auckland-based Professional Public Relations, has teamed up with three New Zealand not-for-profit organisations in a three-week digital activation campaign based on a virtual Transtasman race.

Emirates and PPR are working with Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand, Variety – The Children’s Charity and Women’s Refuge.

New Zealanders are invited to log in to Facebook and vote for their favourite charity, and each vote pushes their A380 closer to the finish line – Australia. Check it out here: bit.ly/EmiratesPlanePush.

The winning cause will receive 10 return economy flights to their choice of one of three Emirates destinations in Australia – Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane – and the two runners-up will each receive two return economy flights to Australia.

Emirates NZ Regional Manager Chris Lethbridge says the plane push campaign is a great way to show the airline’s commitment to New Zealand.

“It is fantastic to work with three New Zealand not-for-profit organisations whose great work has a lasting effect on thousands of Kiwis,” he said.

“All three causes do exceptional work and we are grateful that we can do our bit to support deserving New Zealanders through them.”

The campaign started online yesterday, and runs till Sunday 30 November.
