Auckland-based digital ad sales house ad2one has announced the appointment of two new executives.

Mairi Herbert, a highly successful and creative account director with over 20 years New Zealand and UK experience (including stints at NZME, Fairfax & TVNZ) has been appointed sales director.

And Lorena Burton, most recently a digital account manager for NZME’s Adhub, has been appointed as senior account manager, sales.

“I’m delighted to be joining ad2one in NZ,” Herbert says.” I’ve long admired ad2one and its reputation for delivering premium publishers solutions to advertisers in NZ. The opportunity to work alongside ad2one’s premium publishers, underpinned by Gravity4’s strength in advertising technology, was simply an opportunity I couldn’t pass up.”

Lorena Burton said: “The strength of Ad2one’s premium publishing portfolio, global reach and innovative solutions really caught my eye. I am very excited and looking forward to working together with the team and solving the challenges of our clients, offering them accurate, creative and relevant insights that will help their business succeed.”

Sydney-based Gravity4 ANZ managing director Joshua Rex said: “The NZ business is once again in great hands. After an extensive search, it’s an absolute pleasure to announce the appointment of Mairi and Lorena.

“Following Gravity4’s acquisition of ad2one Australia & NZ at the close of 2015, Mairi and Lorena have been tasked with spearheading ad2one’s positioning in NZ as the premium marketplace for publishers and advertisers and I have no doubt that they’ll be instrumental in driving this forward.”
