AUT University senior advertising lecturer Martin Waiguny has resigned to return to Austria for personal reasons.

CAANZ ceo Paul Head said agencies and AUT University “have enjoyed a strong partnership and Martin has been an integral part of the courses developed”.

These courses include the CAANZ AUT University Foundations Programme, Media Lab, Strategic Planning Lab, and the CAANZ Intern Programme.

“Martin’s academic knowledge coupled with his understanding of the communications industry is highly respected and we have been fortunate to have not only his expertise but also his passion for the industry and all it encompasses,” Head said.

“Martin has dedicated many hours to the CAANZ AUT University Foundations Programme during the last four years and is held in both high and warm regard by over one hundred participants of the course. This year, the course had record numbers and the Foundations Course is a credit to Martin’s vision and dedication.

“On behalf of CAANZ and all the participants of the courses developed – we thank Martin and wish him every success for the future.
