Christina Hazard has joined Clemenger BBDO as head of content production. She has over 15 years’ experience in the business, and is a highly regarded producer, with a network of heavyweight contacts.

Hazard will work across Clemenger BBDO’s entire client base and lead all external content production projects, as well as heading up Flare, the agency’s internal production team.

Clemenger BBDO ECD Brigid Alkema, says it was Hazard’s consistent ability to stay ahead of the production game that inspired the agency to get her on board.

“We’ve been watching Christina’s work for some time,” Alkema said. “Her book is crammed full of successful content campaigns for some of the country’s biggest household names, including Air New Zealand, Mainland Cheese, Westpac and Farmers.

“Christina has significant experience across all types of screen content including high-end television, digital, interactive, mobile and website – this is a really exciting hire for us.”

Hazard was formerly head producer at Y&R New Zealand, and has won awards for Love From Land Rover and Brake’s Living Memories.

“I’ve always known Clemenger to tell incredible stories,” Hazard said. “Their work is forward-thinking and truly creative – that’s what attracted me to the role.”

Bauer lures ex-Roadshow marketer to Auckland role

She recently returned to New Zealand after having spent the last eight years working for Roadshow Films (the last four based in Melbourne) as deputy director of marketing. Before that, she worked in London for The Weinstein Company and Miramax Films.

“Hayley joins us with a tonne of marketing experience and has a real understanding of creating engaging content from her time with Roadshow” said Bauer commercial director Paul Gardiner.

“It has taken time to get the right person for this unique and exciting role, but she gets what we do and we couldn’t be happier.”

Botes said: “I’m thrilled to join the Bauer team, The collective has been responsible for some truly dynamic and innovative campaigns and I’m excited to carry on that tradition.”
