Julie Cooper from J&L says with eight years social media experience, Ryan has a wealth of knowledge and understanding of social media’s best practices and what makes great online content which will be beneficial to the growth of J&L’s social talent division.

Julie told M+AD after first representing Ryan as a “talented YouTuber” J&L created this new role especially for him.

She says Ryan will also be assisting across the J&L talent agency which specialises in international and local actors, voice artists, MC/Entertainers and Presenters.

Ryan says he’s excited to join the J&L team and to learn about talent management – which is so important to young social talent.

“From my home in Hamilton, to Sydney and now Auckland – it’s been a fun journey to see the social media world expand and diversify itself to always stay relevant to the millennial market. It will be exciting to see how it continues to impact the future digital landscape and how social talent will pave the way.”
