NZME creative & strategic hub CreateMe has appointed six experienced people to its expanding ranks, four of whom are filling new roles within the team.

The new faces are Cassie Roma, Ele Quigan, Tracey Martin, Adam Sprachman, Leilah Passos and Emily Govorko.

“CreateMe isn’t even a year old yet so it’s incredibly encouraging to see such highly regarded experts joining the team,” said CreateMe managing director Fiona McLeod.

“CreateMe is going from strength to strength and that’s all down to the team behind it,” she said. “The standard of work being produced is creating more demand which is why we needed to expand our team.”

Cassie Roma joins today as GM Content Marketing. Her role is to lead, motivate and take the content marketing team to the next level. “Roma will work closely with CreateMe’s clients and agencies to develop highly engaging campaigns that deliver outstanding results,” McLeod says.

Roma comes from Air New Zealand where she led a team of digital and social media specialists. She brings with her a wealth of content creation knowledge and expertise gained from over 10 years in the media industry, and is thrilled to be joining the team, saying: “I couldn’t be happier to be coming on board during such an exciting time The solutions and storytelling produced by NZME in the content marketing space is already world-class. The scope for creating bespoke, multi-channel content solutions for clients is growing and evolving. As I see it, the future will be an exciting one full of innovative ideas, creative concepts, superb content solutions, and genuine brand storytelling.”

Ele Quigan comes on board today as the Content Partnerships Manager in the content marketing team. She will lead and develop the team “to deliver the highest quality content-led campaigns”.

Quigan was previously Brand Engagement Director at FCB, specialising in digital and social media, and has over 10 years’ experience in the media industry in both London and New Zealand.

Tracey Martin joined the CreateMe team one month ago as Strategy & Planning Manager. Martin will lead the team of experienced strategists and planners to deliver powerful audience and market insights for clients and agencies.

She has been in the media industry for over 20 years, and brings a wealth of expertise in strategy, planning, client service and project management to her role at CreateMe.

Adam Sprachman has joined NZME as CreateMe’s new Commercial Social Media Strategist. Sprachman’s role is to ensure powerful social strategies are woven into the overall communication plans, and his experience will “give CreateMe an edge when it comes to amplifying commercial content through social channels”.

Sprachman comes from JWT, with previous roles at Contagion, YUSS and Colenso.

Leilah Passos has joined the CreateMe Strategy & Planning team as Media Planner, working to deliver cross-platform integrated media plans for clients and agencies.

Passos comes with a wealth of media strategy and planning experience, having spent a number of years at Coca-Cola Brazil and media agency Initiative Media.

Emily Govorko joined the CreateMe Experiential team last month as a Sales Account Manager, working with the wider CreateMe and Commercial teams. Govorko works to deliver memorable experiences that enable NZME’s audiences to engage one on one with clients’ brands.

Govorko has a strong background in media, including time spent with Bauer and Tangible Media.

“With this highly experienced team now in place, we are well positioned to maximise the growing demand from our clients and agencies to provide integrated, highlycreative sales solutions,” said McLeod.
