VeNA snaps up French expat

Video & Entertainment Network Asia (VeNA) has appointed Adam Lafon-Larrue as agency sales account manager to its Britomart-based NZ team.

French-born Lafon-Larrue has worked in New Zealand for the past 4½ years in digital sales and marketing, as well as property management. Before that, he worked for Fairfax Media Australia at the Canberra Times.

“The skills and responsibilities of these roles position him well to fit into our sales team,” said VeNA NZ general manager Toni Knowles.

“Adam’s experience is enhanced by a multicultural background, and he is passionate about developing strong ties with his clients and stakeholders,” she said. “He is a welcome addition to our team, to help with the management of sales, strategic planning and building of relationships with existing and new clients.”

Lafon-Larrue replaces Tim Richardson, who is heading overseas in June.

“Tim has been a big part of our team, and has been instrumental to the business during a time of unprecedented growth,” Knowles said. “We wish him all the best for his future.”
