Saatchi & Saatchi has appointed a new Head of Planning. He’s David McIndoe, who joins the agency today from Whybin\TBWA where he’s been Planning Director for the past two years.

“Since joining the creative industry in 2004, McIndoe has led the strategic charge on many of New Zealand’s top brands, from banking to beer and almost everything in-between,” says Saatchi MD Paul Wilson.

McIndoe spent his early career in market research, working on major global projects for Diageo and Hewlett Packard. He has amassed over 25 Effies including nine Golds and a Cannes Black Lion for Effectiveness.

“We’re excited to have David re-join Saatchi & Saatchi,” Wilson said. “He’s a proven strategic leader, who’s driven effectiveness across a wide range of categories and channels. He’s also the perfect cultural fit for both our team and clients.

“It’ll be great to be working with him again.”

David McIndoe: “I’m really looking forward to partnering with Paul, Gus and Corey. They’ve got a hugely talented team and a great group of clients. I can’t wait to get stuck in.”
