Over the past few weeks Touchcast has welcomed three new senior figures to its Auckland leadership team – General Manager Jacqui Copas, Client Service Director Steve Pountney and Design Director Dean Pomfrett.

MD Andrew Hawley says he’s excited about what the trio bring to the Auckland team.

“It took us some time to find the right people with similar values and the relevant experience, but already Jacqui, Steve and Dean have made a significant difference to Jacqui’s mix of digital agency experience on brands like Samsung, Chevron, British Telecom, Reckitt Benckiser, The Nike Foundation, and Cancer Research UK.

“And Jacqui’s many years of client-side experience at Spark, Yellow and WHSmith, give her the balanced perspective we need to service our clients in the way they expect.

“With Jacqui spearheading a very talented team that includes Steve and Dean I’m really excited about the future of our Auckland offering, its commitment to our clients, and the great work they will be launching over the coming months.”

Both Steve Pountney and Dean Pomfrett bring a wealth of experience to the Auckland office. As Head of Client Service, Pountney’s experience includes a five-year stint in London and most recently at Terabyte in New Zealand where he led a team to deliver a wide variety of enterprise-level digital solutions for NZ Parliament, Dairy NZ, and NZTE.

Pomfrett comes direct from agency land where he secured more than a few accolades. A seasoned digital veteran, he brings over 17 years’ digital experience across a range of startups and major brands like AA, ATEED, Air NZ, Ford, Freeview, Lion, Lotto, Mazda, McDonalds, Mini, NZX, Nosh, Pfizer, Sky, Spark, and TVNZ.

The trio join Touchcast as it continues to grow in both Wellington and Auckland, with new clients the Department of Internal Affairs, and New Zealand Business.
