AUCKLAND, Today: Shout has transformed its iconic 164 Ponsonby Rd street poster site into a cutting-edge StreetLED display, featuring a new 2000mm x 3000mm P4 digital screen, marking a significant upgrade in visual advertising in the area.

The StreetLED network boasts a size four times larger than traditional street furniture, offering unmatched street-level impact. Its high-quality screen pitch ensures clarity up close, making it an increasingly popular choice for advertisers with its 1/4 Share of Voice (SOV).

164 Ponsonby Road is now one of Shout’s seven StreetLED sites in Auckland, with an eighth on Nelson St activated recently and another on Newton Road about to complete. Jen Sergel, Shout Sales Director, is excited about the expansion: “StreetLED assisted in another year of strong growth in 2023 and with pending business acquisitions, as well as additional StreetLED sites coming up, we are looking forward to an exciting 2024”.

Shout’s strategic focus has been on developing prime locations within the CBD and city fringe, acknowledging Auckland CBD’s significant growth. The CBD’s GDP surged by 9.2% to March ’23, outpacing the national average, with the upcoming City Rail Link expected to draw even more people to the area.

The strategic positioning of StreetLED as both high-quality and cost-effective, primarily targeting pedestrians, has resonated well with clients. Planners are keen to leverage StreetLED’s impact within their street poster and digital campaign strategies.

Shout is poised for further expansion, planning to extend its network to other major centres throughout the year. This ambition underscores Shout’s commitment to enhancing urban landscapes and engaging audiences nationwide.
