Aussie tourist mecca taps Spark PHD

Spark PHD has been appointed as the media agency in New Zealand for Gold Coast Tourism, which markets Australia’s “famous for fun” holiday destination. 

The appointment will see Spark PHD working on the sought-after account, with specialist support from PHD Group’s digital division and PR/activation businesses: PHDIQ and Spark PR & Activate.

The win follows a competitive pitch process, which saw Spark PHD chosen for its “never-before-seen thinking, powerful strategic insights and innovative idea generation”.

“The Gold Coast is home to award-winning restaurants, rainforest national parks, world-class sporting events and cultural festivals and stunning beaches,” said Gold Coast Tourism Western Hemisphere marketing manager Michael Thurston.
