AUCKLAND, Today: The Business Marketing Group has partnered with students from Auckland University of Technology to develop a creative campaign to support Fujitsu air conditioners this summer.

Business Marketing Group MD Ben Cochrane said: “It’s always gratifying to see brilliant young minds working on a real-life communication brief, with real objectives.

“Once again, we’ve been very impressed with the quality of the presentations. The winning idea was the simplest of all presented, often in advertising the simplest idea is the strongest”.

“This year’s winners have designed a clear and relevant outdoor campaign.”

AUT ECD Paul White said: “This is the fourth year we’ve worked with The Business to create a campaign for one of their clients. This year’s brief for Fujitsu was especially good because the students were able to make really great use of the digital billboards that have sprung up over the last year or so.”

The two winning students are Chloe McLeod and Miranda Lee and both say they’re immensely proud to have seen their work being brought to life.

Leading outdoor company QMS NZ supplied a heavyweight campaign on their digital sites.

QMS director Rupert Fenton said: “We enjoy working with AUT and The Business, ensuring the creativity and fresh ideas of students are offered a real-life advertising platform. Each year we are impressed with the campaign response and this year’s winners have designed a clear and relevant outdoor campaign.”
