SYDNEY, Monday: Australia’s grandest creative advertising awards show, the AWARD Awards*, has appointed six Kiwis for its 43rd annual edition.

They are FCB ECD Leisa Wall (Digital jury), Special Group ECD Lisa Fedyszyn (Digital), Colenso BBDO ECD Maria Devereux (Impact juror), The Monkeys NZ CCO Damon Stapleton (chair of the Sound juror), Colenso BBDO senior art director Haylie Craig (Life Changing juror), and independent consultant Lucinda Sherbourne (Strategy juror).

They’re part of a team of 81 AUNZ creatives who will identify the winners and placegetters, with online pre-judging to determine finalists taking place from 11 March to 25 March and virtual judging to nominate winners from 2-10 May.

“Despite the challenges thrown our way, we’ve seen entry levels exceed recent records.”

AWARD chair Cam Blackley said: “This is another world-class line-up of jury chairs and jurors and we’re honoured to have such an incredible calibre of talent review entries this years.

“This will no doubt be another remarkable year for Australia’s creative community. Despite the challenges thrown our way, we’ve seen entry levels exceed recent records.

“That points to a real buoyancy in the industry and a determination to flex creative muscles in tough times. We look forward to seeing how ideas conceived in 2021 have solved a diverse array of business challenges.”
