The Comms Council has signed a stellar crew of offshore and NZ creatives to lead the 2018 Axis Speaks powwow in the runup to this year’s Axis Awards.
Axis Speaks (sponsored by Getty Images) will unfold in the Bluestone Room in Auckland from 5.30pm-8pm on Thursday 1 March, followed one week later by the awards show – on Thursday 8 March (at Shed 10).
The speakers include all the Axis 2018 judges, who promise to share their wisdom, and then partake in a vigorous Q&A.

The panel consists of both international judges Duncan Marshall (creative partner at Droga5 New York) and The Monkeys Sydney chief creative officer/co-founder Scott Nowell. Plus the NZ-based judges – convenor Brigid Alkema (Clemenger BBDO), Chris Schofield (Shine), Levi Slavin (Colenso BBDO), Lisa Fedyszyn (Ogilvy & Mather), and Damon Stapleton (DDB).
“This year’s Axis theme is Respect, and these ad industry giants have certainly earned it,” reckons Comms Council ceo Paul Head.
