The Comms Council will tomorrow issues its entry call for the Axis Awards 2018. The winners will be announced at the awards dinner at the Heritage Hotel Auckland on Thursday 8 March.
The key dates are:
- Call for Entries goes live: Thursday 9 November
- Entries close: Tuesday 23rd January at 4pm
- Late entry deadline closes: Thursday 25 January at 4pm
- Hard copy material deadline: Thursday 1February
- Waitangi Day (observed): Tuesday 6 February
- Category Judging (Heritage Hotel): Monday 12 to Thursday 15 February (inclusive)
- Executive online judging: Friday 16 to Friday 23 February (inclusive)
- Finalists announced: Monday 19 February
- Tickets on sale: Tuesday 20 February
- Metal discussion meeting if required: Monday 26 February
- Executive Judging Session: Wednesday 28 February
- Axis Speaks: Thursday 1 March 2018 (to be confirmed)
- Awards Show: Thursday 8 March 2018
The 2018 jury presidents are: Brigid Alkema (convenor), Michael Redwood (chair), Chris Schofield, Lisa Fedyszyn, Levi Slavin, Damon Stapleton.
