Bastion Shine wins AIA NZ pitch (Updated)

AUCKLAND, Today: AIA NZ has appointed Bastion Shine as the company’s integrated marketing and communications business partner, following a competitive pitch.

Together have been AIA’s media partner since 2019 and this remains unchanged with Bastion Shine’s appointment. The work was previously handled in house.

Both Bastion Shine and Together are independent agencies. AIA has a presence in 18 markets across Asia Pacific, and is part of the AIA Group.

AIA NZ chief customer officer Angela Busby said: “AIA NZ is delighted to appoint Bastion Shine as our creative marketing agency following a competitive pitch process.

“We have been impressed by the strategic thinking and market understanding that the Bastion Shine team bring to the table. It is clear that they are as committed as we are in achieving AIA’s purpose of helping New Zealanders live healthier, longer, better lives.


“The AIA NZ new business win continues Bastion Shine’s rapid growth phase, having recently opened its Wellington operations.”
