AUCKLAND, Today: Agencies are beginning to seek their rightful share of the credit from last week’s NZ Marketing Awards. First to put up their hand is BC&F Dentsu whicch saw three of its clients awarded.

In 2018 BC&F Dentsu partnerships with Subaru and Movember were awarded, however this year the agency went one better with entries for Tower, Meridian and Subaru all picking up metal, with the Movember Foundation also represented as a finalist across numerous categories.

Tower won for business results driven by its What the world does, we undo campaign, Subaru NZor its transformational Upgrade your fun campaign for its key model, Forester; and Meridian capped off a successful night being awarded for its bold declaration of war on Norway.

This also follows the agency’s recent success at the 2019 Asia Pacific Effies where it won a Gold and four Bronzes across multiple client campaigns and was recognised as the 3rd most effective agency in the region.

MD Murray Streets said: “Our agency team takes immense pride in these achievements in partnership with our clients.

The Marketing Association publishes only client wins – it never acknowledges the agency muscle that makes its members look good.

Consistent with the beliefs of our founders, Daniel Barnes and Paul Catmur, and our belief that distinctive works, we continue to focus on showcasing the commercial impact of our work at the TVNZ Marketing Awards and the Effies rather than at creative award shows.”

Managing partner Luke Farmer said: “I’m hugely proud of all involved and the success of the night truly reflects our drive to do distinctive work that truly delivers results.”

Meridian CMO Michael Healy said: “This is another great piece of recognition of the work that BC&F Dentsu have done with Meridian since taking on the business in 2014.

“They’ve helped give us a distinct voice, but more importantly the team have delivered quality thinking and creative. This award is fitting recognition of the dedication they have for business and was made possible through close teamwork.”

Subaru NZ MD Wallis Dumper said: “Our partnership with BC&F Dentsu has been a huge part of our success. We have brilliant people on board and yet again this award demonstrates that business is all about people.”
