Tui has reshaped its ad agency roster model, appointing Colenso BBDO to a new Tui brand creative project, sidelining incumbent Saatchi & Saatchi, which DB Breweries’ Simon Smith says will “remain an incumbent DB agency”.
Saatchi’s role as creative agency for Heineken (which owns the brewery) is unchanged. “We will still be working with Saatchi & Saatchi moving forward,” he told M+AD. Heineken owns DB Breweries.
“Saatchi are currently working on a large campaign for Heineken, and we will share more details about this campaign in the coming weeks.”
Colenso already has a clutch of DB brands, including DB Export, Old Mout Cider, and Rekorderlig.
Tui will not be going through a pitch process, Smith said. “Tui work will move to a project by project basis. The latest Tui project will be managed by Colenso.
“In the future any of our incumbent agencies, including Saatchi, could be asked to work on a Tui projects. This is the new model we are adopting for the brand moving forward.”
Smith also says that Saatchi will continue its work refreshing the packaging of the Tui brand.
