Entry is free, and the two Grand Prix winners at the upcoming Adstars advertising festival will leave Korea with US$10,000 apiece. And there’s still 10 days to get an entry in – the deadline has been extended until Sunday 31 May.
This year’s panels will be lead by executive judges Matt Eastwood (JWT Worldwide chief creative officer), Jean-Remi von Matt (founder & chief creative officer of Jung von Matt, Hamburg) and Jose Miguel Sokoloff (president/Lowe & Partners Global Creative Council).
Entries are classified into 21 categories: Four new video sections (including Branded Information Videos, Branded Entertainment Videos, Branded Viral Videos and Campaign Videos), plus 17 advertising sections (PSA, Film, Print, Outdoor).
Preliminary judging is the responsibility of 230 agency execs from 60 countries. Two thousand entries (the top 15%) will advance to the final round, and judged by the finalist judges in Busan, South Korea in August.
The Digital Videos section, the new addition to Ad Stars this year, limits entry to branded videos.
AdStars 2015 will be held in Busan from Thursday-Saturday, 20-22 August.
