AUCKLAND, Today: Phantom Billstickers has completed a major upgrade to its 130 bollard sites in Auckland and Christchurch.

“If you’ve spent time in Paris or Berlin you’ve probably walked past a Morris Column,” says Phantom managing partner Jamey Holloway.

“That’s the official name for those elegant, poster-bearing pillars you’ll encounter in the street. They’ve been hosting street posters since Toulouse-Lautrec first flexed his paintbrush.

“Here in Aotearoa people call them bollards. To us, that sounds like a traffic obstacle, but never mind. Phantom Billstickers is proud to be the company that introduced the poster column (or pillar, or bollard) to New Zealand streets two decades ago.

“We’ve got 130 sites in Wellington and Christchurch to help your campaign stand out. Residents in those two cities may have noticed a few changes. Phantom Billstickers bollards in those locations have been completely renovated to enhance their visual appeal.”
