Stand by for an avalanche of bad fart jokes as Whybin\TBWA launches a new campaign for Beat Bowel Cancer Aotearoa.

“Bums,” the Eleven PR release informs us, “are full of surprises. But the biggest of all is bowel cancer – it kills as many New Zealanders every year as breast and prostate cancer combined. Yet, if detected early enough, there’s a survival rate of 75%.”

To make some noise around the issue, the agency created a ‘Fartbombs’ website ( that enables the public to add fart sounds to any YouTube video.

Farters are then invited to share their creations with their friends and families. Each video ended with a message, encouraging them to spread the word about bowel cancer on social media.
