AUCKLAND, Today: Boyd PR & Mr Mustard Motion Graphics have created a virtual media kit, delivered to media and influencers alongside a physical box of goodies, to launch South Australia TV – a virtual travel experience, aimed at Kiwis, for the South Australian Tourism Commission, curated by TBWA.

The custom-made animation, designed by Mr Mustard Motion Graphics NZ, takes viewers on a journey down into the Barossa and beyond, to help drive our interest in SATV content and South Australia as a destination.

The platform will remain live until borders reopen and South Australia can welcome visitors again. SATV is hosted in NZ by celebrity chef Sean Connolly.

Online cooking demonstrations, wine tasting and music performances, as well as virtual wildlife experiences and tours are just some of the things regularly uploaded, to bring a slice of South Australia to NZ homes until such a time they can book a much-needed holiday to try it all first-hand.

Boyd PR MD John Boyd says the campaign made South Australia stand out in the crowded domestic market.

“Although Kiwis are currently unable to travel to South Australia, or anywhere overseas, we want to ensure the region is front of mind when borders reopen,” he said.

“The last few months have been extremely difficult for the tourism industry, but I’m proud of the way our team has been able to adapt and develop creative solutions to continue delivering results for our clients.”

Boyd PR has been working with the South Australian Tourism Commission to develop and grow Adelaide and South Australia as a destination of choice for Kiwis since 2018.
