New-look Cannes Lions 2018 call for entries

Entries for the 2018 Cannes Lions Festival opened at the weekend, with a final deadline of Friday 20 April. The 2018 festival runs from Monday 18 June to Friday 22 June.

A late fee applies for entries received after Thursday 22 March, and an increased late fee applies to all entries received after Thursday12 April.

This year’s show is being billed as “the new-look Lions Festival” (but few details have been made available at this stage).

“If you are concerned that you won’t meet the final deadline on 20 April, please contact us,” says Sydney-based Cannes Lions chairman Terry Savage, who steps down when the 2018 show winds up.

Each  campaigns can be entered in up to six Lions. Entry limits within each Lion are different (details on the Cannes website – see below).

All charity and non-profit work will be judged separately from brand-led work during the festival. Judging for Glass: The Lion For Change and the Titanium Lions will be judged live.
