THE YOUNG DIRECTOR AWARD

8 director Michael Humphrey was the only Kiwi to make the finalist stage of The Young Director Awards – the most important fringe event at the Cannes festival.

Humphrey has been shortlisted in the Web Film category for Mountain Dew Directions, out of Colenso BBDO.

Humphrey’s action-packed film follows a group of stakeboarders – from tenderfoots – through bruises and abrasions, broken bones and busted boards – to toughened pro.
