Cadbury NZ – with a little help from their friends at TVNZ, Blacksand, Carat and Beat – has launched its 12-day Cadbury Catch Christmas Promotion, which aims to share the seasonal joy with Kiwis by giving them the opportunity to win Christmas presents for friends and family.

The promo also sees Cadbury partnering with Make-A-Wish again in 2015 to help grant the wishes of children in need across New Zealand.

The Christmas campaign will run every evening between 7:30pm and 8:40pm on TV2. Cadbury Catch Christmas gives Kiwis the opportunity to ‘catch’ one of three Christmas presents onscreen each night by snapping a pic and uploading it to www.catchchristmas.co.nz.

The prizes include a family camping set, a Masport BBQ, an LG Home Theatre system, a $5000 Flight Centre family holiday, a Westfield shopping spree and many more.

As well as the chance to win fantastic presents with Cadbury Catch Christmas, this year Kiwis also have the opportunity to give back to deserving kids in need. For every valid entry received, Cadbury will contribute $1 to Make A-Wish.

“Cadbury Catch Christmas spreads festive goodwill and taps into Kiwis’ habitual multiscreening behaviour around TV,” said TVNZ content solutions manager Lyndsey Francis. “We’ve loved working with Cadbury on this campaign – it’s back for a second year with a refreshed creative.

“The execution is unique: the competition plays out in real time on TV2 which gets a big response and generates a lot of social buzz. Viewers must snap a picture of one of the prizes as it appears on screen before uploading it to the competition website. It’s a great example of how brands can combine the mass reach of TV and multiscreening behaviour to reach consumers and drive engagement.”

Make-A-Wish NZ ceo Shane Gorst said: “Cadbury and Make-A-Wish have been working together for over three years to bring hope, strength and joy to ‘wish’ kids all over New Zealand. Together we have put smiles on the faces of our amazing wish kids as they face the challenges of living with life threatening medical conditions.

“With over 200 wishes currently in progress and more applications arriving every day, we are really thankful for Cadbury’s support.”

Cadbury NZ manager James Kane said: “Cadbury has always been about bringing joy to New Zealanders. This time of year is about spending quality time with family and friends so we want to do everything we can to make those moments as joyful as possible.”
