oOh!media takes Boss to the streets

AUCKLAND, Wednesday: oOh!media, Suntory Boss Coffee and OMD are bringing a slice of Tokyo’s Shibuya business district to the streets of Auckland with a Japanese vending machine full-shelter takeover on Queen St.

The special build, paired with live sampling, has been a helping hand for commuters this week, bringing attention to the “ultimate worker’s buddy’ – coffee. Creative ideation was concepted by Sean O’Shea from Clemenger BBDO Sydney, alongside media agency, OMD NZ. 

Frucor Suntory marketing manager Shana Khan said: “passers -by are encouraged to grab a Japan’s No1 coffee in a can. Brand ambassadors are also taking to the streets of Auckland from 11am-2pm to hand out product.


“Creative ideation was concepted by Clemenger BBDO Sydney, alongside media agency OMD NZ.”

oOh!media NZ head of sales Ben Gibb said: “This special build is yet another example that showcases oOh!’s commitment to working collaboratively with different brands and agencies to ensure we are creating the most impactful campaigns and special builds for our clients.”

“ oOh! offers a wide range of creative out-of-home projects – these executions range from shelter wraps (known as Panoramas and Superamas) to full shelter takeovers usingsSpecial builds, creative decals, sound and motion-sense activations.

“When booking a Panorama or special build, advertisers have 100% share of voice on the shelter.”

The special build will be live until Saturday.
