Colenso BBDO emerged from the annual Mashable Awards (the Mashies) as the only agency outside of North America to walk away from the show with metal. On the night, Colenso’s Found project, developed with Google, won Best Use of Mobile and Samsung Black Cats won for Best Real Time Marketing.
The awards, held at the end of last week in New York, are in their third year and have a fairly unique format – From 20 categories, just five make it to the shortlist stage which delivers just one campaign in each category to take the award.
Globally, Mashable are seen as one of the leading voices when it comes to innovative and effective digital thinking and the Mashies were set up as a chance to champion the very best examples from around the world.
This is the third year in a row Colenso BBDO has walked away from the show with metal and the second in a row that they have tied first for most campaign wins (Crispin Porter + Bokusky, Razorfish NY and BBH NY all also had two campaigns win this year.)

Mashable is the gold standard when it comes to all things digital, mobile and social so to go up against the best in the world and to walk away with two awards, is another sign that we’re getting things right.”
