Colenso, Special and Beer Bottle Sand take centre stage in Singapore

NZ agencies picked up four Golds, a Silver and three Bronzes at the Asia Pacific Effie Awards, held in Singapore over the weekend. Colenso BBDO Auckland was also named runner-up for Agency of the Year (won by McCann Melbourne).

Colenso scored three of the Golds – two for Mars Child Replacement Programme (in Other Products & Services, and Branded Utility), and DB Beer Bottle Sand (in Positive Change).

Special Group also mined Gold – for 2degrees Data Hunt (in IT). NZ’s Silver also went to Special Group for 2degrees Data Hunt (in Brand Experience).

All three Bronzes went to Colenso’s DB Beer Bottle Sand (in Beverages – Alcohol, Brands, and Brand Experience).

Australia retained its #1 position with 31 awards, followed by India with 20 and China with 9.

All winning campaigns and finalists will be accorded points towards the 2018 Effie Effectiveness Index, which ranks the most effective companies and brands globally.
