Colenso BBDO is the only NZ agency to taste success at the B&T Awards in Melbourne on Friday, winning State Agency of the Year (NZ) and Experiential Agency of the Year.
Putting aside for the moment, the rather premature assertion that NZ is already a state of Australia, this is a damn fine double.
“Our clients want integrated thinking and world-class execution, so to win Experiential Agency of the Year is a great testament to the capability we’ve built,” said Colenso managing director Scott Coldham.
“And, to win an Agency of the Year title as well, just topped it off.”
this was also the first time the event had been held outside of Sydney in its decade-long history.
B&T editor-in-chief David Hovenden said: “Undoubtedly this has been the biggest and best and closest B&T Awards in its history. We had a record number of entries and the closeness in the judging was testament to the high calibre of work being produced around the county at the moment.
“I’d also like to thank everybody from Melbourne who so wholeheartedly got behind the event and supported it. There’s so much talent in this city and it’s shame that it doesn’t always get the acknowledgement it perhaps deserves.”
Advertising Agency of the Year (for the second year running) was M&C Saatchi.
