Two senior NZ Colenso creatives have been named as judges at two of the world’s best awards shows. D&AD 2018 has appointed creative group lead Beth O’Brien to the Experiential jury, and Adfest wants chief creative officer Levi Slavin to lead the Film Lotus + Radio Lotus as jury president.
Beth O’Brien
O’Brien has a Masters in Fine Arts, and was a practising artist before she was drawn to creative advertising.
She began her career as an art director at Colenso BBDO, New Zealand, and won NZ’s first D&AD Black Pencil with the Pedigree K9FM campaign – featuring a radio station just for dogs.
D&AD ceo Tim Lindsay said: “We are engaged in a war against mediocrity and you are an important ally. Get involved!”
Levi Slavin
Slavin has won over 100 international awards across dozens of campaigns, including one Black and five Yellow Pencils at D&AD.
Adfest president Jimmy Lam said: “Levi has consistently produced brilliant ideas for leading brands at agencies all over the world. To say we’re excited to have him lead our Film and Radio Jury at AdFest 2018 is an understatement.”
