Grey Lynn-based PR/events/activation shop DARKHORSE has signed Moët Hennessy New Zealand and Orsini Fine Jewellery to its roster of clients.

Orsini Fine Jewellery represents a number of high-end European brands which include the likes of Pomellato, Marco Bicego, Hulchi Belluni and Dodo as well as Orsini’s own line of bespoke engagement rings.

“We are excited to include Orsini into the DARKHORSE family of brands,” said co-founder Mike Hewitt. Orsinin founder Sarah has an amazing business bringing quality jewellery to New Zealand as well as offering her customers a truly unique personal experience when creating bespoke rings.”

Moët Hennessy manages prestigious global champagne, wine and spirit brands, including Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Dom Pérignon, Hennessy, Glenmorangie, Belvedere, Grand Marnier, Krug, Ardbeg, Ruinart, Chandon, Cape Mentelle, Cloudy Bay and 10 Cane. DARKHORSE will now be managing the full PR and event contracts for the entire portfolio.

The win comes off the back of two successful years of event activations for Moët Hennessy. Over the past two years DARKHORSE has run a number of successful activations for their key brands such as Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot and Belvedere with the likes of Clicquot in the Snow, The BMW Polo Open, and the ASB Classic and Heineken Tennis tournaments.

“We have been over-investing in to the PR side of DARKHORSE over the past 24 months and on the back of some great work by our PR team with the likes of DOMO Luxury Furniture Concepts, and Storm & India Tea Sisters, it has led to us to these new wins, and will help further strengthen the PR division of DARKHORSE,” Hewitt said.

Co-founder Liam Taylor said: “We are thrilled to represent the full portfolio of Moët Hennessy brands for both PR and Events. We have been working with the team at Moët Hennessy for the past 24 months and have created great momentum to date and are looking forward to accelerating that with some exciting projects coming up.”

To assist with the growth DARKHORSE has recently added three new people to its team – production manager Brendon Wheatley, activation specialist Nicola Jones and PR & Activation support Millie Sylvester.
