Designstein Wins Niue Tourism

Auckland agency Designstein has been appointed as the advertising agency for Niue Tourism after a competitive tender process. The shortlist included the incumbent and two other larger agencies – but the client declines to name them.

“We’re ecstatic to be working with Niue Tourism,” said Designstein CD Raymond McKay. “They are a unique Pacific Island and we can’t wait to get started on showcasing this to the world.

“This is a great win for our team and shows the value of our new talent across the board in creative advertising and digital.”

Design director Laura Cibilich says the agency’s experience and expertise paired with their “lean, fleet-footed model” helped secure their win. “Our size and flexible structure ensures we consistently offer better value for our clients, without forgoing quality and expertise,” she said.

A strong background in design and familiarity of working with the Polynesian people, companies and organisations were key factors in Designstein’s win. “We wanted to partner with a team that would have a synergy with our beloved Niue,” said Niue Tourism marketing manager Jo Kennedy.

“Designstein stood out from a large number of applicants with their uniqueness, clarity and authenticity and we look forward to working with them.”

Designstein’s Niue role becomes effective on 9 March.
