Digital media under the microscope

KPEX (aka the Kiwi Premium Advertising Exchange) is inviting agencies, media, and research outfits to a one-hour session aimed at promoting better understanding of digital media, run by KPEX ceo Richard Thompson.

KPEX is a New Zealand advertising exchange established last year in joint partnership by Fairfax Media, MediaWorks, NZME and TVNZ, who have pooled their digital inventory to provide the necessary scale for a private marketplace and enabling them to compete effectively for growing digital advertising budgets.

Thompson’s session will cover these topics:

  • How clients use real time data to serve their business needs, including how data is used for serving digital ads
  • The relevance of market research to the member companies of KPEX
  • How research agencies can work more closely with KPEX members

The event will be held at NZ Marine, 80 Westhaven Drive on Wednesday 23 August, with the doors open at 7am for a 7.30am start. It’s scheduled to finish at 8.30am.

There’s an entrance fee – $69 (with group discounts available). Research Association members get a discounted price of $49.
