The NZ Commercial Comms Council has today issued its call for entries for the 2017 Effie Awards (held in association with TVNZ). Entries close Tuesday 15 August, for a show scheduled at the Langham Auckland – soon to be relaunched with a new name* – on Thursday 19 October.
As usual, there’s an extended deadline of Thursday 17 August (for an extra fee).
All Gold Effie category winners will be eligible for the Grand Effie, given to the campaign that achieved the most extraordinary commercial result for its client.
The winner of the 2017 Grand Effie will also receive the prize of $100,000 in TVNZ offpeak airtime (to be placed by TVNZ in conjunction with the winner’s agency).
*Soon to be renamed Cordis.
