AR/VR emerging technology in the brand space showcase

Over drinks and canapés this Thursday 12 October 12, experiential agency Brand Spanking and the AR/VR Garage will present a complimentary demo of the latest in virtual and augmented technology – and its relevance to brands and businesses.

Experiential specialist Mark Pickering from Brand Spanking will showcase the latest brand experience case studies and trends from around the world utilising AR and VR, inspiring and showing its uses and effectiveness in engaging with consumers.

Belinda Hope from the AR/VR Garage will provide some context on the technology and how it being utilised by a range of brands and businesses, where it is going in the future, as well as outlining the function that the AR/VR Garage has in developing new technology.

A variety of companies from the AR/VR Garage, including Verso VR, Staples VR, Method and DotDot will showcase various projects where AR or VR technologies have successfully engaged consumers in new ways (for example Method’s NZ Post VR experience, and Verso’s Cricket Club VR entertainment experience).

This will be followed by a networking session of drinks and canapés, with the opportunity to talk to the creatives, project managers and technology developers behind these campaigns, as well as meet other industry leaders.

Doors open at 5:30 for 6pm start until 8pm, at AR/VR Garage, 34 Shaddock St, Eden Terrace (head up the driveway of MVP Studios).
