A modest showing for New Zealand in the shortlist out of Paris for the 2017 Epica Awards, with just two entries making it through – for Colenso BBDO and Augusto.

Epica is the only global creative advertising show judged by journalists (M+AD was a judge – but we were not permitted to vote for work from our own country).

Colenso scored a finalist spot in the Communications & Public Services category with Spark’s brand campaign TVC Little Can Be Huge – Celebrate Family, which celebrated Fathers Day.

Auckland indie Augusto made the Graphic Design finals with its work for the 2017 AIG Lions tour.

The winners will be announced in Berlin next week – on Thursday 16 November.
