Brussels (Nov 20) – The 2017 Care Awards, which reward social marketing campaigns, have handed out nine premium prizes in Europe – one of which went to FCB New Zealand.

The winners from countries were recognised for their excellence in promoting care for people, ressources and the environment.

This year’s Grand Prix went to RBK Communication’s campaign: Baltic Sea Project / Aland Index.

Eight other campaigns received a Care Award – effectively, a Gold. In the Government Bodies & Related Organisations categories, the winners included FCB New Zealand with Made From Remains for the New Zealand Fire Service.

The main aim of the Care Awards, organised by ACT Responsible and EACA, is to highlight the advertising industry’s specific contribution to society by selecting and celebrating the most powerful and relevant social marketing campaigns and to inspire, promote and federate the actors of the advertising communications industry around social responsibility and sustainable development.
