As signalled a month back, Marketing Association ceo Gill Stewart has resigned after 18 months at the helm. Her temporary replacement is Tony Mitchell, who’ll keep the seat warm while the search for a permanent ceo continues.

“I would like to again thank Gill Stewart for her contribution to the MA over the past 20 months and wish her all the best for the future,” said MA chair Jo Boerema-Barr.

Stewart has yet to reveal her next gig.

Mitchell’s business career spreads across mainly not-for-profits in NZ, Oceania and the UK. He is known for creating a platform for organisations to excel through customer-centric strategies.

He is currently a board member, but will stand down from the board while he is acting ceo.
