Transtasman production company Goodoil has opened an office in Auckland – and kicked off the business by signing the key Auckland management team at Robber’s Dog, which has now closed.
Goodoil has also taken over the old Robber’s Dog building at 9 Central Rd, Kingsland.
Heading up the Goodoil Auckland offering are business director George Mackenzie and executive producer Mark Foster, with director Adam Stevens.
“Adam has fast established himself as one of the region’s most exciting directing talents, with celebrated work such as the much loved L&P World Famous in New Zealand and the inspiring Steinlager Born To Defy film,” said Goodoil’s Sydney-based executive producer Sam Long.
Stevens’ work has been recognised at all of the major international award shows, including AWARD, Axis, LIAs, Ciclope Festival, New York Festivals and Cannes.
“We’ve got a fantastic office – so stand-by for the party invite.”
“Having Adam come on board is of course exciting but it’s also pretty humbling; he’s a master craftsman and can spin a filmic tale with the very best of them,” Long said.
“We’ve always been huge fans of his work and to have him join Goodoil is a very proud day for us.
