TV3 Grand Designs shows in New Zealand are finished for the time being – but over the months to come, images from the TV show will appear in the newly launched Grand Designs Magazine, the official mag of the show – out of Australia-based Universal Publishing.

The bi-monthly title aims to be a source of good design in New Zealand, featuring “the most stunning homes”, blended with sustainable products and adaptive re-use of materials.

Coverage includes walls & wall systems , doors, flooring, internal furnishing, outdoor furnishing,  insulation, windows, awnings, balustrades,  roofs, tiles, plaster, and bench tops.

The title is put together in Sydney and printed in Singapore. Some editorial is shared with its Australian sibling – but Grand Designs aims to be seen as a NZ magazine, with its own cover.

It’s available (for NZ$9.95) at all Countdowns, magazine shops, Paper Plus, New World, Whitcoull, Pack n’Save, Maglink, some dairies, and independent service stations.

Circulation and handling on this side of the Tasman is through Netlink Distribution.

“It’s a great fit for advertisers to target customers planning their own build or renovation – and rates are sensible,” says NZ-based advertising manager Barbara-Anne Kerr, who represents Universal in NZ.
