The Gunn Report is seeking nominations from NZ advertising professionals for its latest creation – The 100 Best Commercials of the 21st Century. So Far.
“A well-visited feature on our gunnreport.com homepage is The 100 Best Commercials of the 20th Century [including legendary NZ commercial Dear John, directed by Tony Williams for BASF in 1981],” says the London site’s founder Donald Gunn in an email to M+AD’s ed.
“As 2015 draws to an end, we thought the time may have come to elect The 20 Best Commercials of the 21st Century So Far. Please can you help us choose them? We value your vote!”
Select your best 10 from a pre-selected list of 30 commercials – sadly, till now, this is a Kiwi-free zone. But you can change that. “If you have a nomination(s) not on the list, email the details to info@gunnreport.com and we will organise a quick second vote with a smaller panel in the case of other nominations with significant support,” Gunn says.
