Mediaworks’ More FM and TVNZ’s turn Xmas into Wishmas with the Warehouse

AUCKLAND, Today: MediaWorks’ More FM and TVNZ’s Seven Sharp have joined forces to help spread Christmas cheer through the 12 Days of Wishmas campaign. 

12 Days, which kicked off on 1 November, is about taking the spirit of Christmas around Aotearoa, surprising Kiwis by making their Christmas wish come true. The campaign was created and is managed by Fuse @OMD.

As part of a broader Warehouse Group campaign featuring Nigel (a small Nutcracker with big dreams) for the past two weeks More FM listeners have been empowered to nominate a deserving person, family or member in their community to get a Christmas wish granted by winning $3000 cash as well as a Christmas bundle from The Warehouse.


“It’s always great to collaborate with partners like More FM and The Warehouse, but when it’s for such a fantastic cause it’s even better.

The first Wishmas winner will be revealed tonight on Seven Sharp at 7pm on TVNZ 1. The following 11 will be announced by local More FM hosts throughout New Zealand, and filmed by TVNZ Blacksand and broadcast weekdays on Seven Sharp from Monday 21 November.

More FM network content director Amy Collett says: “More FM has a rich history of giving back to the community at Christmas with our long standing give back and feel good campaigns.

“We are super proud to team up with our friends at Seven Sharp, The Warehouse, and of course Nigel the Nutcracker this year to do something different to make dreams come true for our local heroes.
