HMC enhances its team for digital content creation

AUCKLAND, Today: HMC, a leading public relations and communications firm, has recently welcomed Anna Clausen as Senior Digital PR Content Creator and Gabriel Renner as Junior Digital PR Content Creator.

Together, Anna and Gabriel bring a rich tapestry of skills to the table, enhancing the agency’s ability to craft compelling content for a variety of clients and digital landscapes.

Heather Claycomb, HMC’s managing director, emphasises the shift towards visual storytelling in the PR sector, stating, “During our twenty years operating in the PR industry, as we’ve recruited new team members I’ve always looked for people who – among other things – are great writers.”

She further elaborates on the agency’s strategic evolution, highlighting the inclusion of in-house video and imagery creation capabilities. “With the appointment of Anna and Gabriel we are evolving even further in the digital PR space. Our team now has special skills that allow us to go so far as doing animation.”

Anna Clausen transitions to HMC with a rich background from Gallagher Animal Management’s NZ Marketing team, where she led digital engagement strategies. “My passion lies in crafting people-centred storytelling and making that into content which will work across my clients’ social media platforms,” she shares.

Gabriel Renner, armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Contemporary Art, brings her expertise in design and video editing to the table, furthering her journey in animation. “As a highly creative person, it’s enjoyable to work with a variety of clients…using a range of artistic mediums,” Gabriel notes.

This year marks HMC’s 20th anniversary, a milestone for the thrice PRINZ PR Agency of the Year winner. Based in Hamilton, HMC continues to serve a diverse clientele across New Zealand, specialising in sectors like agriculture, dairy, and education, among others.
