Auckland, Today: IABNZ announced that it will partner with ad:tech Auckland – NZ’s largest advertising, marketing media technology event – for the fifth year running.
IABNZ ceo Adrian Pickstock said: “ad:tech is the most important event in the New Zealand marketing and advertising calendar that brings together all sides of the online advertising industry – publishers, agencies, advertisers and ad tech people.
“A key strategic pillar of the IABNZ is collaboration and there is no better opportunity for the industry to come together for one day to hear from local and global thought leaders, to network with peers and keep up to date with industry developments.”
Opening this year’s ad:tech conference is world-known strategist and futurist Dr Jeffery Cole, the founder and director of the Centre for a Digital Future at the University of California Berkeley. In the last 10 years he has presented to over 500 audiences on digital transformation and disruption.
Other keynote speakers for the event include: Chris Denson (director – Ignition Factory at OMD/PHD USA), Scott Dinsdale (media & entertainment lead at APAC Accenture Sydney); and Kiwi tech entrepreneur Claudia Batten.
“ad:tech will be held in Auckland on Thursday 15 November at AUT.”

“It also gives our organisation a chance to contribute to the fibre of a great industry organisation that is actively addressing challenges and opportunities of kiwi marketers.
“We value IABNZ’s collaborative approach to industry engagement and the recent work IABNZ have done in breaking down some of the barriers that exist in our industry. We look forward to collaborating on mutual purposes again this year and into the future.’
