Indie campaign celebrates Electrolux’s Swedish heritage

For the first time in six years, Electrolux Vacuums New Zealand is on air with a locally produced TV-led campaign.

The new marketing initiative aims to reaffirm Electrolux’s European quality and design credentials to a New Zealand audience.

The campaign was strategically led and managed by Passion Arena’s Daniel Piper with indie CDs Guy Johnson & Phil Parsonage – a team assembled for the project by 3rdeye Recruitment reporting to Electrolux GM Alan Dalton.

To tell the story, Stockholm native Peter Nitchke was cast to lend an authentic voice.

His vacuum fanboy persona ‘Filip’ was developed to present the brand’s background and introduce the many range and product benefits. He features in a series of TVCs, digital advertising and on the new electroluxvacuums.co.nz website.

Throughout 2017, additional TVC’s will be rolled out focusing on individual products within the Electrolux range. The campaign is supported by a comprehensive digital media schedule, and a new website designed and developed by Hatch.
